Mattress Safe has earned both the Viral Penetration (ASTM F1671) and Bacterial Resistance (ASTM G22) certifications. These designations mean that Mattress Safe encasements meet the same specifications required by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for Level 4 surgical gowns and drapes. A U.S.-based, family-owned and -operated company, Mattress Safe’s patented “Zipper with a Hook” technology helped its flagship product become the first to achieve Bed Bug Certification, the company says. Mattress Safe uses laminated stretch knit fabric, which is stretchable, breathable, non-allergenic, waterproof, and lightweight, fitting securely under bedsheets.
