Target Specialty Products to host webinar with PCO Bookkeepers

Target Specialty Products, a service provider of pest and turf and ornamental solutions in the United States and Canada, will hold a 1-hour webinar on Thursday, Jan. 28, at 1:30-2:30 p.m. Eastern. As part of its Business Growth Webinar Series of 2021, the first webinar of the year will cover the topic “Benchmarking a Successful Pest Control Company.”

PCO Bookkeepers, an accounting and consulting firm that caters to pest management professionals throughout the United States. has partnered with Target for the webinar. The guest speaker will be Dan Gordon, CPA, owner of  both PCO Bookkeepers and PCO M&A Specialists, Newton, N.J., and Pest Management Professional‘s financial columnist.

During the presentation, attendees will learn how measuring key performance indicators (KPIs) from your company against other successful players in the industry can improve your own efficiency, productivity, help manage expenses and identify areas for revenue growth.

This webinar will focus on both financial and operating ratios extracted from your routing and general ledger software and discuss why they are important, how to use them and why your company’s success is dependent upon understanding them.

As a pest control company owner, manager, CFO and industry consultant, Gordon has played a key role in the development of several pest control companies from inception to more than $15 million in annual sales. Prior to working in the pest management industry, Gordon was employed by Deloitte and Touche LLP, an international accounting and consulting firm, as an auditor and tax consultant working on deal structures and tax planning for private business owners. He is a graduate of Northeastern University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in accounting and management.
