Atlanta, Ga.-based Rollins Inc., the parent company of Orkin, Critter Control and several other leading pest management firms, has donated $50,000 to industry fraternity Pi Chi Omega. The donation establishes a perpetual scholarship, starting in 2022, in the name of the late R. Randall Rollins.

According to a Pi Chi Omega news release, the annual $2,000 R. Randall Rollins Memorial Scholarship brings the total of the fraternity’s annual awards to $13,000, spread among six separate scholarships. It also brings the total of Pi Chi Omega’s scholarship funds to more than $325,000.

Begun in 1976 — with the first award going to then-student Dr. Bobby Corrigan —  the Pi Chi Omega Scholarship Program has awarded more than 145 scholarships to students studying urban or industrial entomology. Learn more at PiChiOmega.org/scholarships.
